Many books have been written about the Tarot and the meaning behind their cards with subtle differences in the opinions of the writers. However, what they write about the Five of Pentacles is fundamentally the same. The Five of Pentacles has been described as a card that appears when we are having a crisis of one kind or another, usually when we are losing faith either in ourselves or another. While at first glance this can be a bad omen, the Tarot is much more layered then the binary of good and bad.
